Project Buyer


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Buyer to join the Estates Division Procurement Team, to lead on the development and delivery of procurement strategies utilising procurement best practice

The Role

The role holder will manage work streams across various departments within the category/s they manage, support current requirements, design sell and implement solutions that reduce costs and risk and contribute to the Estates Division Strategy "Creating places for people who change the world", along with Team objectives.

About you

You will be a highly adaptable Project Buyer as you will be allocated to work within different parts of the division often cross functional according to the greatest areas of business need at any given time. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all parties receive excellent service and drive tangible value for money.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Procurement experience gained within a Construction/FM environment and experience of building strong stakeholder relationships both internally with customers and externally with suppliers to enable the delivery of objectives. You will also have the ability to initiate, plan, coordinate, execute and close down a project to meet the objectives and timescales.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a security check.
