Project Administrator (Part Time, Fixed Term)
Applications are invited for we are seeking a Project Administrator at 0.25 FTE to support the Jones research group in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Cambridge.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of scientists working in translational neuroimmunology. Their role will be to support ongoing projects in the Jones lab, including assisting with the setup and maintenance of project archives and documentation (such as grant reports, ethics applications, and grant submissions). They will also serve as a key point of contact for project-related queries, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including funding bodies, to ensure the smooth operation of the projects.
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills are essential. A solid understanding of the principles, processes, and best practices involved in managing translational research projects is also key. While familiarity with the research field is highly desirable, it is not essential.
The role is primarily desk-based, and remote working will be considered.
