We are now looking for a Head of Undergraduate and PGCE Office to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As our Head of the Undergraduate and PGCE Office, you will lead the administration of the Faculty's Undergraduate and PGCE programmes.
Specifically, you will oversee student admissions, course delivery, placements and assessment, while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and safeguarding standards.
Managing a team of eight administrators, you will work closely with academic leaders to co-ordinate student registration, examinations, and professional placements with partner schools.
Additionally, you will:
- Act as a key liaison with central University services for quality assurance and student support
- Ensure the delivery of effective admissions and safer recruitment procedures
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Officer for the Tripos and PGCE
- Contribute to Ofsted inspection preparations
- Serve as Secretary to key academic committees and ensure proper governance support
- Contribute to course publicity, marketing, and national data submissions
About You
- Experience in a senior administrative role
- Experience managing and supervising staff
- Demonstratable advanced knowledge of administration involving a critical understanding of relevant theory and/or principles
- Excellent people management, communication and interpersonal skills
- A degree level/Level 6 vocational qualification or equivalent level of practical experience
