Facilities Management Assistant - Security


We are seeking to recruit 2 Security Assistants (Asset Protection) to join our Library team.

The role of the Facilities Security Assistant (Asset Protection) is designed to cover a range of support interventions for Facilities Management (FM) and University Library staff. A strong team player, you will typically have a primary key skill (e.g. strong Customer Services, Reception, Security) but will also possess skills and knowledge to help with a number of other tasks across the team.

You will be required to work 36.5 hours per week as part of a flexible rota, covering the following hours:-

  • 06:00 - 19:30 Monday - Friday (This will be extended to 22:15 during the Easter term)
  • 07:45 - 17:15 Saturday
  • Occasional bank holidays and out of hours event support may be required
  • Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidates will be required to undergo a basic disclosure (criminal records check) check and a security check.
