Curriculum Content Coordinator (Fixed Term)

Do you get a kick out of making things better, especially when it comes to education design and processes? And are you a natural at drawing out vital information from everyone involved?

We're looking for someone to join our forward-thinking eLearning team as we reimagine how we capture and design curriculum content. If you're eager to be at the heart of implementing fresh, impactful approaches that will significantly boost the quality of medical education at Cambridge, then this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

What you'll be doing

As our Curriculum Content Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of an exciting transformation project. Working with clinical academic staff across different areas of our course, you'll coordinate the standardisation of curriculum content using our Course Structure Design Documents.

You'll build relationships with diverse stakeholders - from clinical leads to administrators - guiding them through our new template-based approach to capture essential course information and learning outcomes. This isn't just data collection; you're helping to establish processes that will benefit medical education at our institution.

Your work will involve coordinating meetings, liaising with curriculum specialists to fill out the details of their content in a new format, tracking progress across multiple course areas, and ensuring our new Virtual Learning Environment launches with high-quality, consistently structured content.

Why this role matters

This position offers insight into how operational improvements are designed and change management works in practice. You'll see firsthand how new systems and processes are implemented across an academic environment, gaining valuable experience in stakeholder engagement and project coordination. You'll be contributing to measurable improvements in the quality of information our Education Division uses for teaching and delivery - work that directly supports the education of future medical professionals.

What we're looking for

We need someone who can build strong working relationships with a wide range of people and keep track of multiple moving pieces. You'll thrive if you enjoy both detailed work and maintaining a clear overview of project progress.

Experience in administrative roles, collaborative work, and using databases or spreadsheets would be valuable, but we're more interested in your potential and approach than your specific background. We particularly welcome applications from candidates who bring diverse perspectives to our team.

About our team

We're a friendly, creative team who enjoy finding new solutions to operational challenges. Whether it's developing innovative ways to display course information or creating new collaborative approaches across different locations, we value fresh thinking and creative problem-solving.

What we offer - Salary: £26,642 - £30,505 - Location: Cambridge Biomedical Campus - Contract: Fixed Term (2 years), Full Time - Flexible working: Hybrid working policy available - Development: Opportunity to contribute to significant operational change and gain insights into process improvement
