Research Assistant [INTERNAL ONLY] (Fixed Term)
We are looking to recruit a motivated, full-time research assistant to join Dr Tetsuo Hasegawa in the University of Cambridge, Department of Medicine. The post holder will work on a specific project to elucidate neuroimmune interaction in the joint with the possibility of undertaking PhD study.
The appointee will have a minimum Bachelor's degree in biological science, has to have PIL certificate and have experience in handling live animals, and has experience in dissecting neuronal cells from dorsal root ganglia. In addition, knowledge of the day to day workings of an immunology laboratory, including microscopy, tissue culture and molecular biology is required.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 30 September 2029 in the first instance.

Appointment at Research Associate level is dependent on having a PhD. Those who have submitted but not yet received their PhD will initially be appointed as a Research Assistant (Grade 5, Point 38 £34,132) moving to Research Associate (Grade 7) upon confirmation of your PhD award.
