We are seeking an experienced REF Manager to lead on future REF submissions for the University of Cambridge. Working closely with the Director of Research Services and Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research, the role will lead the development and implementation of all aspects of preparation and submission to future REF exercises to ensure excellent outcomes for the University.
About You
We are looking for candidates with:
The post holder will need to have have significant experience of a higher education environment and a clear understanding of the organisational culture of a large research-intensive university. They will have experience in a research planning/REF context and expertise in the interpretation and communication of complex policy in order to provide the strategic leadership of the University's REF submission. This will include line management of a central support team.
The post requires experience of project management/planning at a strategic level , alongside excellent communication skills and an ability to build professional relationships and establish credibility with key stakeholders.
