Teaching Associate, MSt in Social Innovation (Fixed Term)

The Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation (CCSI) is home to the Master of Studies (MSt) in Social Innovation, a part-time postgraduate programme for working professionals seeking to lead positive social change. The Centre acts as a platform for knowledge-sharing, teaching, and supporting students committed to tackling social, environmental, and economic challenges.
We are now seeking a Teaching Associate to support the ongoing delivery and development of our MSt in Social Innovation. This role is primarily focused on teaching support, assessment and student support¿ideal for someone passionate about postgraduate education and experienced in working with mid-career and professionally experienced learners.
You will contribute to course delivery both in person and online, including tutorials, discussion facilitation, and assessment. You will also help develop and update course materials, provide feedback to students, respond to academic queries, and assist with the overall student learning experience. Experience supporting students with diverse professional backgrounds is highly desirable.
You will have a strong understanding of social innovation, combined with experience in postgraduate teaching or academic support. A PhD/ doctorate in a relevant subject is essential. You should be a strong communicator, highly organised, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with qualitative research processes and experience of UK higher education systems would be beneficial.
This is a teaching-focused post with no formal research requirement, although involvement in research-related tasks may occasionally be requested.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
