Deputy Centre Administrator (Part Time, Fixed Term)


An exciting opportunity for a Deputy Centre Administrator has arisen within the Centre for Research in Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities to provide additional support to the Centre.

About the Division / School

The Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH) is one of the biggest and most active research centres in Europe. CRASSH's core mission, to foster world-leading interdisciplinary research ranging across the arts, social sciences, and humanities, is achieved through three main programmes. It hosts several individual and collaborative research projects and centres, develops an events and initiatives programme with around 300 events per year (from high-profile public lectures and multi-day conferences to small, research-intensive workshops) and manages a series of Visiting Fellowships.

The Role:

The Deputy Centre Administrator will join a friendly collaborative team and work closely with the Centre Administrator and CRASSH Director to support the Centre's programmes and projects. The role holder will provide professional support in the areas of Governance and Planning, Research Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Programme and Project Administration and Communications (internal and external relations).
