Industrial Placement Administrator (Part Time)


We are seeking a part-time Industrial Placements Administrator, who will be based at the Department's central Cambridge site within the Industrial Placements Office. This office forms part of the Teaching Office and, working closely with the Teaching Office, the Industrial Placements Office has responsibility for supporting and verifying the placement of undergraduates for the Industrial Experience requirement of the Tripos.

You will be responsible for the administration of the Industrial Experience requirement which forms part of the Honours Degree qualification undertaken by Undergraduate students. Reporting to the Industrial Placements Coordinator, you will assist in sourcing internships by building and maintaining relationships with employers globally, as well as advising and supporting students looking for an internship.

The successful candidate will be educated to at least A Level standard or have an equivalent level of practical experience. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous administrative experience is essential as well as the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload. Experience of using University of Cambridge administrative processes would be desirable.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
