Applications are invited for a Postdoc to join the Prorok Lab in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, at the University of Cambridge, UK.

The lab's mission is to find practical methods for hard coordination problems that arise in multi-agent and multi-robot systems. We are particularly interested in developing solutions to multi-objective problems. We seek candidates with a strong background in computer science, optimization and/or control, experience with machine learning methods, and a keen interest in multi-agent systems. A high degree of self-motivation, research-oriented thinking, and a drive for getting real robotic systems up and running are all essential traits for this position. Experience with graph neural networks (GNNs) is a plus.

Successful candidates will hold (or be close to completing) a PhD. Appointment at research associate level is dependent on having a PhD or having equivalent skills and experience through non-academic routes. Where a PhD has yet to be awarded appointment will initially be made as a research assistant and amended to research associate when the PhD is awarded.

The position is for 2 years and will be renewed on a yearly basis. There will be opportunities to contribute to international collaborative projects with other universities as well as industry.
