Applications are invited for the position of Clinical Anatomist in the Human Anatomy Centre housed within the Department of Physiology Development and Neuroscience. We are searching for an individual with extensive knowledge of Anatomical Sciences and a commitment to teaching. The post would suit a clinician, or academic anatomist, who is enthusiastic about training the next generation of doctors. Available from 1st October 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter, the post-holder will take a lead in the organization and delivery of functional anatomy courses, primarily for undergraduates, with some more advanced training also undertaken.
The successful applicants will have a clinical or advanced qualification in a relevant specialty and show evidence of relevant clinical or other experience that equips for the range of material and topics within the medical curriculum. Applicants will also have an aptitude and enthusiasm for teaching at undergraduate levels and will be expected to contribute to other academic activities in the Department, and more widely in the School of Biological Sciences, including the design and delivery of examinations and other forms of assessment.
The starting salary is dependent on the skills and experience of the appointee and will be in the range of either £56,587-£60,022 or £61,818-£63,668.
