Applications are invited for the post of Head of School IT and Digital Transformation, a role based in University Information Services but serving the School of Arts and Humanities, and the School of the Humanities and Social Sciences.
The post-holder will be responsible for the Schools' IT services and for their successful delivery. In partnership with the leadership of each School and UIS Directorate, the post-holder will be responsible for defining vision and strategy with an agenda of greater collaboration and service improvement. The post-holder will work across the Schools and with the UIS to implement the strategy alongside staff in the Schools' constituent faculties and departments, upgrading facilities as resources allow. Responsible to the Deputy Director UIS with a dotted reporting line to both School Secretaries.

To perform this role effectively you will have experience in a senior role in the management and planning of IT and project management. You will have technical expertise and will understand scientific research, as well as business needs. You will be well organised, have excellent interpersonal skills and will remain calm under pressure.
