Applications are invited for the post of Assessment Assistant in the Office of the School of Clinical Medicine.
We are recruiting to this role at an exciting time in the development of medical education assessment delivery. The Assessment Team are in the process of moving to digital modes of assessment and we will shortly roll out a new platform for delivery and marking of some of our assessments. If you have experience of on-line or face to face student assessment this role could be of interest. It is ideal for a professional administrator with exceptional attention to detail and good team working skills.
The role is varied and interesting and involves working closely with administrative and Senior Clinical colleagues on a daily basis as well as liaising with students. You will be able to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels and communicate sensitively and positively with students. We aim to accommodate some flexibility over working arrangements taking in to account the operational constraints of the role.
You will be well organized, enjoy working collaboratively with others and be good at problem solving. You will be proactive and keen to develop and refine the process that you use to ensure efficiency and quality are maintained.
You will need to demonstrate strong IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems rapidly. Experience of digital assessment delivery would be welcome and a positive and professional attitude are essential.
