NIHR BioResource for Translational Research is seeking a Research Support Assistant to provide administrative and organisational support to the NIHR BioResource Clinical Team in order to ensure successful volunteer recruitment and recall for a variety of research projects.

The role holder will support the NIHR BioResource Clinical Team with the day-to-day running of the Clinical Research Unit under the supervision of the Senior Research Nurse in order to ensure that the unit is fully operational, up-to-date and meets all requirements of a CUH clinical area.
Candidates should have experience that is relevant to the post, including:
- Experience in an administrative role, with good Word and Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to greet volunteers and answer questions from research volunteers as required
- Excellent planning and organisational skills and attention to detail

This appointment is full-time, 36.5 hours per week. We welcome applications from individuals who wish to be considered for part-time working of no less than 4 days a week (80% FTE)
NIHR BioResource is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) as part of a 5-year funding cycle. The funds for this post are available until 30 November 2022 in the first instance. It is likely that the NIHR BioResource will continue to be funded by NIHR beyond this date, with an extension grant providing funding until 30 November 2024, with a further extension of 5 years dependent on available funding.
