Applications are invited for this exciting and challenging position to play a key role in recruiting volunteers to the NIHR BioResource, including the coordination & administration of recruitment activities, database management and liaising with volunteers. The role will focus on research studies based on the general population, but may also assist with recruitment and maintenance of rare and common disease recruitment when necessary.

NIHR BioResource is a unique and powerful resource for studying disease mechanisms and for investigating the links between genes, the environment, health and disease, enabling scientific discoveries as well as facilitating translational medicine for the benefit of patients.

Candidates should have experience that is relevant to the post, with an understanding of research methodology and good organisational and communications skills, and ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant subject. The post holder will require a Research Passport which will be applied for once an offer has been accepted.

This appointment is full-time, 37 hours per week to provide maternity cover for a maximum of 1 year or the return of the post-holder, whichever is the earliest.
Our offices are on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, CB2 0QQ (approximately 2 miles south of the city centre). Work - life balance is important, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and we are open to discussion on flexible working.
