We are looking for a Classroom Technician to assist in the running of our busy Part I Classrooms. The duties will include setting out and preparing teaching materials, running teaching computers, checking audio visual equipment in lecture theatres, repairing equipment, photocopying, preparing solutions and answering student enquiries. The position is part-time working 40 weeks a year centred around the University teaching Terms.
Applicants should be educated to GCSE level including passes in Mathematics and Biology, and be IT literate and manually dexterous. Accuracy, flexibility and reliability are required as are good communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and as part of a small team.
Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
