Post-doctoral Research Associate (Fixed Term)


Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to join the project Economics of Energy Innovation and System Transition (EEIST) at the University of Cambridge, Department of Land Economy. The project EEIST is funded by the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) and includes 14 partners in the UK, EU, China, India and Brazil. At the University of Cambridge, the project is led by Professor Jorge Viñuales and Professor Laura Diaz Anadon at the Department of Land Economy, Dr Cristina Peñasco at the Department of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) and Dr Pablo Salas at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and. The successful applicants will work under the direct supervision of Dr Salas and Prof. Viñuales at the Center for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance (C-EENRG).

The project EEIST will deliver empirically validated modelling tools capable of assessing the impact of energy, innovation and technology-related policy choices under a 'risk-opportunity' assessment framework

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 August 2022 in the first instance.
