The Bionanoengineering group at the Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology Department works at the interface of chemistry and molecular biology, and designs advanced nanostructured materials for catalysis and biomedical applications. The team is composed of chemists, molecular biologists and engineers, and has recently secured funding to conduct COVID-19 related research, for which it requires a research laboratory assistant.
The purpose of this role is to provide technical support for teaching and research activity related to COVID-19 project in order to ensure the smooth running of a laboratory or research facility and support postdoctoral researchers working on the project.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 18 months in the first instance.
