Applications are invited for a Support Platform Technician to work in the brand new Crop Science Building located on the NIAB site, off Huntingdon Road. You will support the daily operation of plant engineering platforms and contribute to the general running of the Crop Science Centre laboratory. When fully operational the building will house approximately 50 staff, students and academic visitors.
You must have practical experience of molecular biology techniques and working with plants in a lab environment. Experience in a scientific platform service environment, preparing media stocks and sterile working practices (bacteria or plant tissue culture) is essential.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
