We are looking for a nurse to work on clinical research studies within the Early Phase Clinical Trials Team (EPCTT). The post holder will provide the nursing care for research patients and will manage, with support, the administration and day to day running of studies, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
You should be a registered nurse with oncology or clinical trials experience, previous Early Phase clinical trials experience is desirable. You will need the ability to work in a self-directed and flexible manner.
The EPCTT team is a multi-disciplinary group of doctors, nurses, data mangers and a trial coordinator led by Prof. Duncan Jodrell. The EPCTT team's research goals are to optimise the "science-led" clinical application of novel therapies, including "first into man" (phase 1) and associated pharmacology studies.
