Widening Participation Manager (Fixed Term)

Applications are invited for the post of Widening Participation Manager in the Cambridge Admissions Office (CAO). The post holder will provide support for the Head of Widening Participation and Regional Collaboration, and the Director of the Cambridge Admissions Office, in undertaking research and developing proposals relating to the University's Access and Participation Plan and the wider admissions and outreach strategy and policy which the office is responsible for, as well as providing high-level support for the department's financial and other administration.

The postholder will be required to quickly develop a deep understanding of the University's existing strategy, commitments, programmes and plans related to widening participation. Candidates will have strong administrative skills, and a keen interest in engaging with projects and developing policy and practice. The post does not have line management responsibility.
