Large Animal Client Services Administrator - Part Time [Temporary Cover]

Salary scale: £19,730.00 - £22,659.00 (Part Time, Pro rata)

The hours of work will be 8.45am to 17.15pm on Thursday and Friday each week with one hour for lunch each day.

Limit of Tenure: 9 months or the return of the role holder whichever is sooner.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Services Administrator to join the Large Animal Unit of the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital, available from 7 March 2019 or as soon as possible after that date.

The Queen's Veterinary School Hospital (QVSH) is a teaching and referral hospital with a reputation both nationally and internationally as a centre for excellence in many areas of veterinary medicine. The Equine and Farm Animal Unit of the QVSH provides both ambulatory and hospitalisation facilities.

The role holder will be an integral part of the equine and farm teams in support of the mission to deliver excellence in client service and clinical veterinary student teaching. The role holder will work as part of a team of three staff and report to the Head Administrator for the Large Animal Unit. Duties will include incoming admissions, diary management, general office and farm and equine administrative duties.

The successful candidate must be efficient and experienced in Microsoft Office packages and have excellent communication skills with the ability to establish professional and effective working relationships with the wider team. Excellent customer service, organisation skills, attention to detail and flexibility are all essential parts of the role.
