Research Assistant/Associate: Drosophila Neurogenetics (Fixed Term)

We are looking for a post-doctoral Research Associate to join the lab of Dr Albert Cardona whose lab is interested in the neural circuit basis of behavior. For details of recent projects, see . For a description of the lab's focus see .

You should have experience of the following: - Design of genetic constructs in Drosophila - Fly husbandry - Application of machine learning techniques

The role holder will also play a key part in establishing the lab in Cambridge after recent relocation from the Janelia Research Campus in the US. We therefore need someone with the ability to create internal and external contacts and build relationships for future collaboration as well as driving forward the research.

You should have a PhD (or about to be awarded a PhD) in biology, specialized in genetics/genomics in Drosophila.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 5 years in the first instance.
