The School of Arts and Humanities has established a School-wide Information Services team to complement local IT services. We are recruiting an additional IT Technician who will be a key part of this new team joining four other full-time IT staff. The technicians are the first point of contact for IT support and involved in installation and maintenance of IT equipment.
The School of Arts and Humanities consists of eight Faculties and three other institutions with 650 staff members.
The technicians work across the School particularly in Modern and Medieval Languages, Classics, English, Divinity and Architecture and History of Art.
We are seeking someone with strong customer service skills and experience, and understanding of Windows, Mac, Android and iOS clients. The role holder should be educated to A-Level standard or with equivalent understanding and skills.
