The Centre on Geopolitics and Grand Strategy (COGGS) seeks a part-time administrator to support its work for 10-12 hours per week. The postholder will fill a critical role, providing support to the Director and coordinating administrative support for the Centre's development, outreach, and events. The postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Centre, providing an excellent standard of administrative support, and act as the main point of contact between the Centre, its Department, the wider university and relevant outside communities at both a national and international level. The postholder will also be responsible for managing the Centre's finances.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
This is a demanding position working in a fast-paced environment requiring a pro-active approach to diary management and operations as well as to the organisation events and liaison with partners both within and without the University.
Candidates must have level 4/5 vocational qualification or equivalent and a proven track record of relevant high-level PA or administrative coordination experience. Candidates will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to work on his/her own initiative, prioritise work, maintain accuracy, work to tight deadlines, and be experienced working in a dynamic environment.
