We are looking for a coordinator to support our Human Anatomy teaching programme for first and second year medical students. The role is to assist in managing the Human Dissection Room (HDR) working in close liaison with the Clinical Anatomists and the Chief Teaching Technician. You will support the Clinical Anatomists in all areas of teaching including the provision of teaching and examination material at undergraduate level and assisting in the organisation of external courses for medical practitioners. The role holder will also have some technical oversight of the HDR ensuring compliance with the Human Tissue Act 2004.
You should have a first degree in a biological subject, with a good working knowledge of human anatomy, good communication and organisational skills. We require someone who can progress tasks independently as well as working and liaising well within the HDR team.
Fixed-term: 12 months or the return of the post holder whichever is the earlier.
