The Board of Electors to the Professorship of Chemistry (1968) invite applications for this Professorship from persons whose work is connected with the field of theoretical chemistry to take up appointment on 1 October 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Applicants should be internationally recognised for fundamental contributions to theoretical chemistry and leadership in the field. A track record of active involvement in interdisciplinary research and collaborations, including management of grants and funding, would be an advantage.
Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification. Standard professorial duties include teaching and research, examining, supervision and administration. The Professor will be based in Cambridge. A competitive salary will be offered.
