Would you like to join our small, friendly accounts team? We are looking for someone to support the Accounts Administrator in the day-to- day running of the Department's finances delivering a comprehensive accounts service for a range of activities within teaching, research and administration
As part of a team of four, you will undertake a wide range of accounts administrative duties following University policy, procedures and best practice in order to achieve accurate input within specified guidelines and meet specified deadlines.
You should have AAT Intermediate or equivalent qualification (or working towards) and have extensive accounts experience. Good communication and IT skills are essential along with a high degree of accuracy. A good understanding of transaction processing is desirable as is familiarity with the University Financial System (CUFS).
The funds for this position are available for up to one year or until the return of the permanent post holder whichever is the earlier. Internal applicants who wish to undertake a secondment are welcome to apply.
