Applications are invited for a postdoctoral associate position to work on a project that aims to develop novel algorithms for resilient path coordination in connected vehicle systems. The goal of this project is to prioritize algorithmic designs that are resilient to a wide variety of disruptions, rather than providing optimal (yet brittle) performance. The position is fully funded for 2 years. Collaborations with the Oxford Robotics Institute and UK automobile industry are expected to take place.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. and a strong publication record in robotics. The ideal candidate should be familiar with multi-robot systems, have excellent programming skills and experience in methods for trajectory planning, optimization, and machine learning. Good communication, presentation and management skills are desirable.
