We are looking for a technician to support our Human Anatomy teaching programme for first and second year medical students. You will be involved in the preparation of material for dissection and in the organisation of practical classes and examinations. The post holder will assist in all aspects of the day to day running of the dissecting room, liaising with academic staff and students. You will be part of a small technical support team, having supervised responsibility for all aspects of the work in the Human Dissecting Room Teaching Facility. The body donation programme is strictly regulated by the Human Tissue Authority and post holders are expected to help with adherence to expected standards. This is a unique opportunity for someone interested in human anatomy to develop their career in this area.
You should have an HNC or equivalent in a biological subject and have some experience in a medical or teaching laboratory or similar environment.
