Research Associate (Fixed Term)

Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate in Professor Robin Franklin's lab at the Wellcome Trust-MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Institute.

The post holder will join the Group of Professor Robin Franklin to undertake research in collaboration with the research groups of Dr Kevin Chalut and Dr Kristian Franze to understand how age-related changes in the mechanical properties of tissues affect their ability to undergo regeneration following injury. The project is part of a wider multi-centre programme of work within the UK Regenerative Medicine Platform and will involve close interactions with research groups in Edinburgh and London. This position is aimed at a biologist or physicist with a particular interest and experience in mechanobiology.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 March 2023 in the first instance.
