Customer Services Manager (Fixed Term)


The University of Cambridge Information Services department wishes to appoint a Customer Service Manager to provide excellent customer service for all University Telecoms' services and customers.

The successful applicant will undertake a variety of customer support activities including the management of a team of staff who directly liaise with customers, provide assistance and support, perform changes on the Call Manager telephone system, provide administrative and financial services for the telephone services including customer & supplier orders, deliveries, invoices & inventory management.

The role holder will provide a wider administrative and financial service to all teams and staff within the UIS Networks team, including project co-ordination activities. Also, the role holder will need to co-ordinate all the financial work with the UIS Finance team and liaise with the Finance Manager.

The role holder will have excellent communication, organisational and personal skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for a customer support role. Experience of managing a small team and business processes is an advantage.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
