Accounts Assistant (Part Time)


We are seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to work as part of a small but busy team in Cambridge, to support the finance processes for UBS staff.

Primarily, the role holder will provide administrative support to the UBS finance team; carrying out monthly finance processes including raising sales invoices to customers, resolving customer issues when necessary, overtime and expenses processing, handling procurement queries for UBS staff on behalf of the UBS finance team, assisting with processing invoices for payment using Cambridge University Finance System (CUFS) and resolving supplier issues when necessary. The role holder will also provide ad hoc support to the UBS Directors, assisting with clerical and general administrative duties including minute taking, filing, and typing up notes.

The successful applicant will be an approachable person, educated with at least five GCSE's grades A* - C including English and Mathematics (or equivalent) with excellent communication skills. They must be able to manage their own workload, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines independently with minimal supervision. The successful applicant will be computer literate, competent at using standard IT software and Microsoft Office programmes, and a working knowledge of University CUFS and iprocurement is also desirable.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment and a security check.
