Assistant School Administrator (Part Time) fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity


Limit of tenure applies*, 80% FTE.

We are looking for an experienced administrator to support the senior staff in the School Office. The work is across an interesting and wide ranging work portfolio. It would also cover distinct areas of your own responsibility (such as the management of various funds/grants, organisation of student/staff events).

The role holder will be responsible for supporting and assisting the senior staff in the identification of efficient and workable solutions to key issues; in the implementation of policies within the School; undertaking specific projects and carrying out committee work. This involves liaising with departments and with other central administrative departments.

Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent and have previous administrative experience, preferably gained within the HE sector, as well as possessing excellent communication, analytical and IT skills. The appointment is for a fixed term period for a year, either on a secondment or fixed-term contract basis, at 80% FTE immediately.
