Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
Applications are invited for up to two post-doctoral research associate positions in the group led by Professor Clare P. Grey to work on solid-state, Li-air, and Na batteries. The project will involve the use of standard and elaborated synthesis/assembly of batteries and various techniques for electrochemical testing and characterisation.
Applicants must have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in inorganic/materials chemistry or other related areas. Previous experience in electrochemistry, working in lithium ion batteries or related technologies, as well as a strong background in the characterisation of batteries or related electrochemical processes, are essential. The ability to work in teams is desirable.
