Applications are invited for the post of Schools Liaison Coordinator, in the Faculty of Education.
This post promotes relations between the Faculty of Education and its partnership schools and the Faculty's programmes, particularly to under-represented groups. The role involves developing and implementing a programme of activities including school visits, open days, recruitment fairs and other events, as well as involvement with the Faculty's social media accounts and analysing the impact of activities to inform future planning. The successful candidate will also work on the development of a network of teachers in secondary schools in support of the University's widening participation activities.
The successful applicant will be educated to degree level or equivalent and be equally comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with initiative, drive and strong interpersonal skills. They will ideally have had some experience of publicity and/or promotions within an educational field and of liaising with outside organisations. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to collate and analyse data are also essential.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 30 September 2019 in the first instance.
