A position is available for a postdoctoral research associate with a strong background in signal processing (EEG) in the Voon lab. Must be proficient in programming. Some background in cognitive neuroscience or computational psychiatry would be ideal. Background can include engineering, physics, neuroscience or psychology. Good spoken English and writing skills are ideal. Must be able to and comfortable with travel.
The candidate will be involved in multimodal analyses integrating neurophysiology, neuroimaging and cognitive neuroscience in the context of neuromodulation and will have the opportunity to work on developing new studies and analysing and writing up existing studies.
The University of Cambridge offers access to the international excellence of Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre with 3T (Siemens Prisma and Skyra) and 7T (Siemens Terra) MRI and PET-MR (GE) with additional departmental facilities for TMS and M/EEG and access to the University's high performance hub for informatics (HPHI) and advanced analytics. The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with an active neuroscience community in basic and clinical sciences.
Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent in neuroscience, engineering, or physics or be very close to completion/award of same prior to their appointment to the post.
