We are seeking to recruit a full-time research assistant to assist with the recruitment, testing and basic analyses of patients and healthy controls. The Voon lab at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Cambridge focuses on understanding mechanisms underlying impulsivity and compulsivity particularly in disorders of addiction using multimodal approaches. The Research Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day project administration, participant recruitment, cognitive and imaging testing, updating project logs, maintaining ethics approvals, data management and statistical analyses of data. Training will be provided for testing paradigms and analyses. The applicant must be organised and have good communication skills. Experience with testing in research settings within the last few years is recommended. The work will mostly be based at Addenbrooke's Hospital and the Herchel Smith Building.
Applicants should possess a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as neuroscience, psychology or a related science degree, experience with research testing within the last few years, have good interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate clear and succinct writing skills.
