The High Voltage Microelectronics and Sensors (HMVS) Research Group is part of the Electrical Engineering Division based in West Cambridge. The division conducts teaching and research activities across a range of electrical engineering based activities from nanoscale to heavy duty power applications.
We are seeking a part-time HMVS Research Coordinator, who will report to the Head of the HMVS Research Group, to coordinate and support a programme of research with the group in order to ensure the smooth and efficient running of research-related activities.
The successful candidate will be educated to HND/HNC, Level 4/5 vocational qualifications or an equivalent level of practical experience. You will be an experienced user of Microsoft Office, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous administrative experience, excellent organisational skills and the ability to demonstrate a factual and theoretical knowledge of research coordination are also essential for this role. Knowledge of UFS and X5 would be advantageous.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
