Research Assistant/Associate

The Department of Land Economy is looking to appoint a researcher to join its team of researchers in CCHPR. We look at all aspects of housing, planning and land use and conduct research for a range of funders. Our team works collegially on multiple research projects, both long and short term, the majority of which are policy-oriented.

This post will give you the scope to develop your research interests and methodological skills, and you will have opportunities to work with other members of staff within the Department of Land Economy and the wider University, as well as other institutions, as required by different projects.

If you are an enthusiastic researcher with experience of mixed methods research and an interest in UK housing and planning, or are from a related field such as Geography or Sociology, we'd love to hear from you.

Further information about the post can be found in the Further Particulars document.

The successful candidate will be appointed at either Grade 5 or Grade 7, depending on experience and qualifications. The post is full-time but we welcome applications from individuals who wish to be considered for part-time working.

This post is permanent but subject to limited funding.
