Occupational Health Clinic Nurse (Part Time) - 22.5 hours, three days a week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time clinic nurse to join our small but busy team. The Occupational Health Service is part of the University Occupational Health and Safety Service and is responsible for the development of occupational health support, compliance and support services for staff and studentships throughout the University and Departments.

The role includes the screening of professionally regulated students and staff undertaking research in the NHS, routine health surveillance, work and travel related immunisation and health promotion. Reporting to the Senior Occupational Health Nurse Adviser you will carry out immunisation, phlebotomy and health screening and provide travel health advice to staff and some student groups. You will be expected to manage your own clinics, have excellent organisational skills and the self-confidence to work independently. Effective communication and team working skills together with confident use of standard IT systems including 'Microsoft Office' are essential. Applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) within the adult branch.
