We are seeking an individual to join the group led by Prof Peter Hutchinson. You will be expected to work closely with the co-ordinator of the RESCUE-ASDH trial and roll out a number of sub-studies on craniectomy (intracranial pressure, autoregulation, neurochemistry, advanced imaging) in conjunction with other members (clinicians and scientists) of this well-established group.
Applicants must be medically qualified, registered with the GMC and should have completed core neurosurgical training (or equivalent). A strong interest in research and academic neurosurgery is essential. If you are successful, you will be expected to register for a PhD and you will be encouraged to participate in the junior neurosurgical registrar on-call rota (Addenbrooke's Hospital).
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 years in the first instance.
