Student Systems Technical Manager

Applications are invited for the position of Student Systems Technical Manager within University Information Services. The role holder will be responsible for both the management of a team of IT professionals, and also the technical assurance for student systems development including design, delivery, support and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise and Mid-range Systems, this senior role will help ensure the provision of the central student system utilised across the Collegiate University. You will either be educated to degree level, or have an equivalent level of work experience. The role requires someone with demonstrable experience of PeopleSoft systems, PeopleTools development, managing technical activities, evidence of working at strategic, tactical and operational levels to deliver technology change, and strong planning skills. In addition to this, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, an ability to work as a highly pro-active, persuasive and enthusiastic team member, together with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
