Part-time Mental Health Advisor 1 post (75% FTE) £29,799 - £38,833 (pro rata)
Cambridge University Counselling Service is seeking to recruit one Mental Health Advisor to work at the University Counselling Service to support students with serious or enduring mental health problems and help them access the specialist services they need. You will work with staff in the Colleges, Counselling Service and Disability Resource Centre, as well as with Cambridge & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, to develop and enhance mental health support to students of the university. You will also be responsible for assessing students' fitness to study when emotional or mental health problems are affecting their academic progress. This is a significant position in this large, busy and well-respected multi-disciplinary Counselling Service.
You will be professionally qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Mental Health Social Worker or equivalent, and have significant relevant work experience.
The funds for this post are available for 1 year in the first instance.
