Professional Services Graduate Trainee

The Professional Services Graduate Programme at the University of Cambridge provides motivated and outstanding graduates a foundation for a career in the demanding and inspiring world of university leadership.

The two-year programme, starting in September 2018, is formed of four 6-month placements, giving exposure to a variety of roles, experiences and perspectives across a number of professional services areas and aims to provide graduate trainees with the skills and experience to succeed in a leadership career within the University.

The Professional Services Graduate Programme incorporates a number of personal and professional development opportunities, including a leadership and management development programme.

You will have graduated from the University of Cambridge as an undergraduate or postgraduate in any discipline, within 5 years of your application. If you do not have a postgraduate qualification, you must have achieved at least a 2:1 in your undergraduate degree. If you are in your final year of undergraduate study, any offer of employment would be conditional on you obtaining at least a 2:1 degree classification.

Successful candidates will have excellent skills in the following areas; oral and written communication; research, analysis and report writing; interpersonal and team working; planning, prioritising and organising; applying skills and knowledge in new environments and contexts; and the passion to drive their own personal and professional development.
