Junior Clinical Training Scholar Small Animals x 4

JUNIOR CLINICAL TRAINING SCHOLARSHIP (INTERNSHIP) SMALL ANIMAL STUDIES

Scholarship award: £14,800 per annum

4 Scholarships to start on 1 June 2018 for 12 months

Applications are invited for this one year post-graduate training programme based in the Queen's Veterinary School Small Animal Hospital.

The scholarship will benefit veterinarians seeking advanced training and experience and this broad but intensive clinical learning experience acts to prepare individuals for Senior Clinical Training Programmes (Residency) and potential specialisation. Scholars will rotate through a variety of small animal disciplines including Soft Tissue Surgery, Orthopaedics, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, and Anaesthesia and will be an integral part of the out of hours care of animals within the hospital especially within the intensive care unit.

Candidates must be Members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and should have experience of small animal general practice in the UK.

The deadline for applications is 21st January 2018

Interviews will be held 20th February 2018
