This role is within the Student Registry of the Academic Division. The Student Registry has a broad remit, providing administrative services to students at every stage of their student journey (from admission to exams and assessment to graduation), and to staff and third parties.
You will undertake duties of a clerical nature in support of the work of the Student Registry. This includes: maintaining current student and archive records throughout the student journey; supporting the examination operations process from enrolment to assessment; advising Colleges on the procedures for the update and maintenance of the student record; advising Departments and degree committees on the processes for extracting student data; supporting colleagues in data quality checks for statutory reporting needs.
You will need to be educated to A' level standard, with at least GCSE level (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics and relevant experience of clerical work in a customer service environment. You must also have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of academic staff, students, administrative staff and members of the public making enquiries by email, telephone and face-to face, have a high level of accuracy and work well under pressure.
