CRASSH is one of the biggest and most active research centres in Europe with research programmes that produce over 300 research events each year, from high-profile public lectures to small, research-intensive workshops. CRASSH's core mission, to foster world-leading interdisciplinary research that ranges across the arts, social sciences and humanities, is achieved through a three-part structure of Fellowship Programmes, Research Development Programmes (conference and research group programmes) and a Collaborative Interdisciplinary Research Grant Programme.
The Administrator is a key member of the Centre's senior management team (with the Director, Deputy-Director and a School representative, currently the Finance Manager) and is responsible for the overall administration of all the Centre's programmes and projects. S/he is responsible for ensuring professional support in the areas of Governance and Planning, Research Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Programme and Project administration and Communications (internal and external relations).
The successful candidate will be educated to at least first degree level or with equivalent experience.
This post is fixed-term for three years in the first instance.
