The Finance Division is seeking to appoint a full time Accounts Receivable team leader to join the Property Accounting Services section. The Finance Division manages the financial resources of the University and the support services for the financial functions carried out by the University's departments. The role will be part of the Financial Operations team, based at Greenwich House, Madingley Road.
The Property Accounting Services section provides financial and transactional support to Estate Management (EM). Apart from the buildings which are used for teaching and research (the operational estate), EM also maintains in and around Cambridge in excess of 500 billable residential and commercial units (the non-operational estate).
The post holder leads the Accounts Receivable team responsible for billing and recharging of residential and commercial tenants, recharges to internal departments and the income collection for the University Centre.
Candidates should be educated to GCE A-level or equivalent and be able to demonstrate numeracy, IT and leadership skills. AAT level 3, or equivalent, is desirable.
Candidates will be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers; be able to work on their own and in a team and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
